Elements and Performance Criteria

1. Conduct review
   • Flight review is conducted in accordance with flight review standards as specified in applicable regulations
   • Applicant performance against the standards specified in applicable regulations is identified
   • Remedial training for those elements performed below the specified standard is determined
   • Remedial training is conducted as required in accordance with established workplace procedures
2. Conduct pre-flight discussion
   • Pre-flight discussion plan is prepared that covers topics required for rating being reviewed
3. Pre-flight discussion plan is delivered
4. Opportunities to actively participate in discussion are provided to applicant
5. Discussion is reviewed to determine whether aims of discussion were achieved
   • Flight review is conducted in accordance with flight review standards as specified in applicable regulations
6. Applicant performance against the standards specified in applicable regulations is identified
7. Remedial training is conducted as required in accordance with established workplace procedures
8. Complete post-review briefing and administration
   • Post-review briefing is conducted that includes assessment of applicant competence against standards specified in applicable regulations
9. Post-review administration is completed in accordance with established workplace procedures
